more原级是much和many。more可以用作副词、形容词、代词、名词，作副词时意为“更多；此外；更大程度地”，作形容词时意为“更多的；附加的”，作代词时意为“更多的数量”，作名词时意为“更多”。

2.单独作为many much的比较级,为形容词,表“更多……”
例句：A big truck is carrying more oranges than that one．(many的比较级)

3.常放在数词或some,any等后面,表“更多、额外数量”,相当于形容词,其后往往省略名词
